The Kingston Bridge & Inner Ring Road - Glasgow

Campaign for completion of the Glasgow 'Ring Road' (aka the M74 Extension)

It is a little-known fact that only about 40% of the Glasgow 'Ring Road' has ever been built. This is one of the reasons that what there is of it is congested daily. Environmentalists have made a meal, over many years, of trying to claim that the missing parts of it would destroy valuable architecture: this is quite untrue, and is merely a device to cause delay.

A number of members of the Association have taken part in correspondence in the Papers demanding that the City Authorities and the Scottish Minister for Transport should approve completion at a very early date. We are very pleased to report that, some time ago completion was agreed upon. However, we cannot afford to be complacent, and we must keep pressure on those concerned to fulfil their undertakings.

If you support these efforts, why not join us? Details are on the Website.
