THE ASSOCIATION OF BRITISH DRIVERS
IN SCOTLAND
Bruce has been instrumental in the removal of the threat of Congestion Charging in Edinburgh for the moment (and hopefully after the way in which the local authority were shown up by the referendum this threat will be removed for a long time to come) but he has also played his part in the struggle against the introduction of the tramcar to the streets of our Capital City. See details of Bruce's efforts by clicking on Trams
Bruce has also been heavily involved with The Edinburgh Airport Rail Link project emphasising the point of view and the expectations of the motorist. Bruce and our Chairman, Peter Spinney, attended at The Scottish Parliament on 13th June 2006 and made submission to the enquiring Parliamentary Committee on our behalf. Bruce is also a very regular correspondent with the Edinburgh Evening News - to the point where, on occasion, he is asked to submit articles. In this particular instance the article requested was on Central Edinburgh Parking. To read Bruce's article Click Here
