WE ACCUSE THE TAYSIDE COUNCILLORS OF ENDORSING A FAILED SYSTEM

Dear Sirs,

Following the 37% increase in road deaths in Tayside last year in Tayside, a spokesperson for the Speed Camera Partnership is quoted in Tuesday's Courier as saying,' It should also be remembered that the Tayside Speed Camera partnership has been in operation for less than a year, and therefore the effectiveness of the partnership cannot yet be judged.'

Not too soon though for a ringing endorsement of it's success from our local councillors and the investment in a whole lot of new equipment.
